happy easter!

I hope everyone had a great easter, enjoying it with friends and or family, and thanking God for all he has done for us. I had a lil bit different than i usually have, this was the first one i didnt spend with my family. I am used to going out to Pt. Magu and camping with my family this easter weekend but its ok i survived without it.. Gemma Audrey and i enjoyed a nice lunch dinner at waffle house, then we boiled eggs (without a stove) it was quite interesting we decorated our eggs they came out so cute lol, we then played some tennis and kicked around the soccer ball..Overall it was a good relaxing day no complaints from me. Oh, and only 5 WEEKS tell summer!

This break could not have started out any worse, but at the same time could not have ended any better. So here is the story.. The plan was that i was going home on friday night and i would be suprising my mom for her birthday on saturday morning! So ya my aunt was going to pick me up friday night. So on friday around 3 audrey drove me to the biloxi airport i was there 2 hrs before my flight. the flight i was scheduled to go to atlanta then to ontario. well when i reached my terminal i was hearing news that many flights were delayed and or canceled going into atlanta, i was thinking great. well my flight starts getting delayed by ten minutes then 30 so on and so on after 5 hrs of delays the flight gets CANCELED! so everyone on the flight has to go back to the check in and the workers are to reschedule flights or refund you. so the worker i was working with ended up finding me a flight on saturday morning at 700 from new orleans to houston to lax and arrive at 1030 which still would have let me suprise my mom and would work out fine because i had a ride to new orleans because that is where audrey left from on saturday morning at 1000. so i went ahead and booked that ticket, and audrey came and picked me back up for biloxi. so saturday morning we get to new orleans airport at 530 when i go to get my ticket at the ticket booth it would not go through, so i go to a worker for help, long story short it turns out the guy who booked my flight booked me on a flight with no seats and all flights going out of new orleans were over booked for saturday. when i heard this news i was pissed i started crying then cussing and i just got so mad nothing could calm me down. but eventually i talked with the lady more and the only option i had was to go on standby for flights going from new orleans to atlanta to lax. i was on about five standby flights i was in the airport all day and all the flights were over booked on each flight there were people with confirmed seats that were not getting on and about 5 standby people. There was absolutely no way i was going to get on the flights, it even got to the point that this guy who was on stand by all day with me said he was driving to atlanta and if i wanted to come with him, obviously ive seen all the scary movies and was not going to go with him but after this day i did question it lol, so anyways i didnt make any of the stand bys and it was 7pm already i made many calls to 1800 numbers and talked to many workers and all they could tell me was you really wont be able to get a flight until tuesday and all i could do was cry, but i had to keep trying to get home, so finally a break through came i talked to this lady and there was a flight on sundayat 530pm straight thru to lax arrive at 1010 pm sunday night she told me there was available seats so i booked that flight right away. now to the next problem where was i going to sleep and wat was i going to eat i didnt eat all day i had no car or any money. so i went and talked to a worker and they told me they could not help me at all because my initial flight was canceled due to weather and they had no control over that, so once again i was out of luck, i then had to get the guts and had to talk to higher authority, i talked to this supervisor who ended up being really nice she knew i was there from early morning and knew i had a rough day she got me a hotle for the night and 3 meal voucher cards thank god! so sunday came i got on the plane and was home, the family was happy to see me and i was happy to be home!!!!!!SO now i could start the fun! I got to do so much over break i went down and had a really nice day with my grandparents who i want to thank for getting me home if it wasnt for them i would not have been able to come home at all for break thank you love you miss you , i spent lots of time with my brothers playing rock band and basketball its so cute and scary on how much all 3 of them are growing up i miss those boys and love them so much. i had some nice dinners and breakfast s and good talks with the parents, thank you for doing all you do for me and supposrting me in school and i everything i do i love you both!! got to stay and hang out at my aunt pennys and i wont even start to tell you all the funny stories from there.. i saw some friends this week went by faster than i thought so sorry for those of you who i didnt get to see or spend much time with.. and i got to spend alot of time with Peter!! he is my new boyfriend. i kno some people may be thinking dang you move on fast but all i can say is everything happens for a reason… peter and i have been friends for a long time we hadnt talked for like ayear or so and one day we just started talking to catch up on life, both of us were not looking for a relationship at all we both had just gotten out of long relationships. well we started talking everyday by texts then conversations grew deeper we would call or skype me every night and we would talk for hours, so we decided we would have to hang out for sure when i came home for spring break.. we had such a great time when i was home we went to the movies a few times, he met my family and friends, and i met alot of his friends, he made me a great meal on st. patricks day, we went quad riding, we went to the beach, we just had a great time together.. i really enjoy spending time with him and talking with him and he feels the same way im pretty sure lol.. so ya now we r dating and all i can hope for is the best, i am scared to be hurt again but i cant stop living and i think peter is someone who treats me right and puts a amile on my face… so yes overall spring break was AMAZING!!! i cannot wait to be home for summer, and im driving!! lol

so a couple weekends ago we went down to monroe and played 7vs7 tournament.. it was alot of fun we played 4, 40min games in one day we won 3 and made it to the semi finals. we beat 3 division 1 teams!! audrey and i played defense in the back together we had such a fun time.. i love little tournaments and stuff like that!!

ha so we have a new craving for this week.. i think the things we crave are always changing and this time its chocolate and bananas. we just take a bunch of bananas from the caf which we have to like kind of sneak out cause they dont like you taking food from the caf and then we go and buy hershey bars from the store and then melt it in the microwave and slice up the bananas so good!!!! so i just thought id inform everyone hahahahahh..

so people still ask me how jeff and i are doing.. we actually broke up… i finally can talk about it. It happened just about 3 weeks after winter break so about a 2 months ago now. it was really hard but i am doing fine now. i am happy to say im stood up for what i believed in, i think i deserve better, and that i can say i tried. I wasnt even going to try doing the long distance relationship with jeff but im happy to say i did try so now i can never say what if. i truly did love and care about him a lot and i will always care about him, us together just didnt work out. But i know prince charming is out there somewhere for me lol!!!! as for now im am keeping all options open and just enjoying life and looking forward to the future!

so spring soccer has been going on since about a week after winter break, we took it easy fro the first while pretty much just playing indoor soccer, which is so fun. This week we got intense, on monday wednesday and friday we play soccer do technical work and running, on tuesday and thursday we do weights and hard workouts. I used to have weight room in highschool but i never really had to work out. On tuesday we had to max out on our bench and squat, i squatted 165 and benched 85 i was pretty happy with myself.

Also, i have took on tennis. Audrey Gemma and i go out and play everyday for a lil bit now. They both have played before so they are teaching me. It actually is pretty fun and can get quite intense. Audrey and i signed up to play on the intramural team at school i am so excited!!

Gemma and i decided to take on a creative activity well audrey was home for tri break. We drove around town looking for things on buildings or objects that looked like letters of our names. We then went and printed all those letters in black and white. We got cardboard and put them on there they actually came out really good!! It was a fun thing to do with our spare time haha..

So last week we had no school because it was tri break. Audrey ended up going home along with basically the rest of the school except the foreigners. Gemma and i were here though so we had a plan to find things to do. Well it just so happened that mardi gras was going on and last tuesday was the last day. So we of course went down for the closing day!! Let me just tell you we had SO MUCH FUN!!!!! It is definitely and experience all of you need to have. The parades are nothing like i have seen before, we think the macy’s parade is good ha good joke..And no its not all about flashing, i thought that too lol but maybe that is the night life i got my beads from the parade we cheered and screamed and battled for the beads as they through them off the floats. Gemma and i took so many pictures and just had so much lol! im so happy i got to do something that i kind of think everyone wants to do atleast once.

ok so this is how it all started… so me and audrey were watching this show on tv one night about donuts, and during that show it said that is the flashing red light is going off you get free donuts… well a few days later gemma audrey and i were driving down the street and say it aint so the flashing red light was going off… we were both like omg lets go in and see if we get free ones…so we walk and and say what we get free ones!!!! then we find out the light is going to be going off the whole month of february so guess what we have been doing, GOING EVERYDAY OFCOURSE!!!!

so chris aka my bro, my best friend, my hero flew me home last weekend since he had 2 week leave from iraq. i was so happy to see him it has been a long time!!! we had so much fun together! and not only did i get to see him io got to see family and friends again. When i was home chris took me shopping, he was like go ahead pick out an outfit, but i decided id be brave and let him pick me an outfit.. he actually did really well its quite a cute outfit lol. We also went snowboarding with lizzi and josh omg so much fun!! that will defiently be a day i will never forget.. the lil bros had soccer games all weekend so we watched them play they are lil studs, and no im not just sayin that cause there my brothers hahah… we had a lil get together with some friends which turned out really wel.. overall a FANTASTIC weekened home!! Thanks bro for everything you do for me, be safe out in Iraq i love you so much and miss you already!!

awww how i wish i could have been at home forever.. it was such a great time at home seeing all my friends and family. i just want to thank my parents for all the things they did for me and for bringing me home i love you guys. wow how have my lil bros grown up they all are bigger and act so much more mature lol its so cute. they had me playing games with them all the time and let me tell you they got me addicted to guitar hero by the end of the trip instead of them asking me to play with them i was asking them to play with me hahah.. i had a really good time with jeff he spoils me so much, for those of you who dont know he got me a promise ring!!! he also got me diamond earrings and slippers. i missed him so much when i was gone seeing him was so great, we have so many more memories now. saying good bye to him was so hard though i thought saying bye to him the first time would be the hardest but im learning it gets harder everytime.. christmas was good with the family it was hard though with out chris there but i enjoyed seeing the extended family on christmas eve and spending christmas with my family and jeff… new years eve was probably my funnest night down at my aunt pennys with all the family and friends.. lizzie josh jeff and i definitely had good laughs together. i had alot of fun at my going away party you know that last chance to hang out with the close family and friends can never go wrong by being with the people you love… so tell me i was so mad at myself i didnt take to many pics well i was home i guess i was just to busy and forgot but i do have a few so here you go!!!
